Guidelines for Angel Free Spay & Neuter Day – Hosted by Operation SNIP 'EM

To qualify for this free service, please read the following requirements carefully:

Eligibility Requirements:

Residency: Must be a resident of Ray, Lafayette, Clinton, Carroll, Caldwell Counties or Excelsior Springs, MO.

Income Limits:

Pet Requirements:

Dogs must be pit bulls or pit bull mixes.
Must be at least 4 months old and under 7 years of age.
Must be in good health.
You must know your dog's accurate weight.
No aggressive dogs will be accepted—this is for the safety of all staff, volunteers, and other animals.
Pregnant dogs will undergo abortion during surgery.
Proof of DAPP and Rabies vaccines must be provided at check-in. If not current, your dog will receive them during the appointment.

Appointments will be held:

Monday–Wednesday, October 6th, 7th, and 8th
Drop-off times: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
You must be available all three days, as appointment days will be assigned based on availability.

Application Deadline: We will accept the first 60 applications and then select 21 dogs from those to participate.

Selected participants will be contacted directly.
You will be required to submit a clear photo of your dog to verify breed eligibility.

Important Notes:

Shelters/Rescues may NOT apply
A refundable $25 deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be returned on the day of the appointment.
No-shows will be permanently disqualified from all future Operation SNIP 'EM services.
You will be asked to sign a photo release form and a disclaimer acknowledging the risks involved with surgery, including the rare possibility of death.
